After a disaster commonly called “Long-sleeved kimono Fire” which took place in 1657 in the Edo period, the samurai class has moved to ushigome area covered with thickets and the grass, and formed a residential quarter where most of the residences were the samurai class.
Based on this fact, this park was made as a Japanese garden with an open space which is modeled the residential area of the samurai class that reminds you of Ushigome area in the Edo period.
